Lindsey then proceeded to introduce me to Gunter's paper clip fashion craze - the paper clip retainer. It was very believable...I thought Lindsey had put her retainer in for the afternoon.
So...we need your help. Please answer the poll question to the right and help us decide which paper clip accessory is really the coolest. Or maybe there is something even cooler than the paper clip earring or the paper clip retainer that we haven't even heard about. Who would have ever thought that a simple paper clip could be so useful!

What about the paper clip bracelet or necklace? When I started taking classes at SOSU, I was introduced to the redneck version of this, as I saw several people wearing bracelets made out of fishing swivels that were clipped together.
Yeah, Lindsey wins on this one - mainly because of the gross factor that goes along with putting a paper clip that has everybody's germs on it in your mouth.
Lindsey, you don't know where that thing's been!!!! It might have been made by some diseased foreigner in a factory overseas somewhere that is crawling with plaque-ridden rats, or some kid from Sherman High School might have had it on their ear!!!!
They are both pretty cool, but I voted for "other" because BACK IM THE DAY we would take foil gum wrappers and put them on your teeth to look like braces. No understand that back then your braces looked like a mouth full of metal...you didn't have all the cool colors to choose from. Being one that always wanted braces, but didn't need them...I had to resort to the gum wrapper kind!
I agree...Lindsey wins! Rob's right though...there is definitely a gross factor involved!
